Bachelor of Technology(Bachelor of Technology - Electronics and Communication Engineering)
The Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following two criteria with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in the year of first appearance in the Class XII (or equivalent examination) with a valid JEE (mains) score:
1. Candidate should have passed 10+2 Examination or equivalent with at-least 60% aggregate marks from a recognized board in 2023/2024 or who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2025 are eligible. Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should also be at least 60%. Reservation for eligibility of candidates for SC,ST and PwD is as per GoI rules.
2. Must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board examination. The percentile calculation will be done for all the required subjects, in a single academic year only.
• The marks scored in the following five subjects will be considered for calculating the aggregate marks and the cut-off marks for fulfilling the top 20 percentile criterion.
i. Physics
ii. Chemistry
iii. Mathematics
iv. A language (if the candidate has taken more than one language, then the language with the higher marks will be considered)
v. Any subject other than the above four (the subject with the highest marks will be considered).
• For calculation of the total marks for five subjects, if the marks awarded in a subject is NOT out of 100, then the marks will be scaled (up or down) to 100 so that the total aggregate marks is out of 500.
